Peter Mandile

I was born and raised in Sydney and in 1985 was provided the opportunity to join the family Real Estate business which was established in 1966 and proudly continues to operate today. Having commenced my career as an assistant property manager, I obtained my full Real Estate Licence in 1989 and progressed through the ranks over a 20 year period to eventually become Principal and Licensee in charge. This background enables me to understand all aspects of the Real Estate office and more importantly, the ability to understand every clients requirements whether they be a landlord, tenant, buyer or seller.

Following 20 years in residential property, it was time for a new challenge and I was fortunate to secure a position with a private development company specialising in Commercial, Industrial and Rural development/subdivisions. At this same time I also obtained my Auctioneers Licence and conducted many property auctions over the years.

With the opportunity to purchase into Hope Island Resort Realty, a lifelong desire to locate to the wonderful Gold Coast could now be realised and to be able to work in the industry I love in the highly desired Hope Island area is certainly an exceptional opportunity.

I have already had the opportunity to meet up with some old clients of mine who are now new clients here in Hope Island and look forward to meeting many new friends and clients and provide the same, high level service that I am used to providing my clients. Rob Casbolt

I was born and bred in South Eastern Victoria and, in 1978 at the age of 17, I moved to Merimbula to start my first job as a Book Keeper in a small goods factory. Before long at the age of 21, I began building with my Father and it was at this time that I built my first duplex investment and later sold it on.

My father carried on the building Company and I diversified into opening retail businesses, of which I set up two camping stores and ran them successfully for 5 years. It was at this time that I decided to move to Gosford and that is where I met my wife Alison. Together we opened another retail outlet and ran this as a couple for 6 years. During this time, my love of building kept growing and so I developed a number of Duplexes, Villas and an 18 unit Motel which the family operated and ran successfully until someone came along and made us an offer we could not refuse. After the sale of the Motel we went on to establish 4 major camping and outdoor stores in Sydney and the Central Coast which incorporated a staff of 30 and a massive turnover.

It was at this time that Alison and I decided to have a family. We today have two beautiful daughters Zoe, 16 years, and Tia who is 14 years.

We moved to the Gold Coast in 2001 and into Hope Island Resort, as we had visited it on many occasions for some 10 years previously and it just seemed to be the perfect place to bring up our family. Today we are blessed to live in such a beautiful area. Schools, amenities and so much at our doorstep makes life just perfect in everyway.

My previous building knowledge and development acumen led to a career in Real Estate where I achieved salesperson of the year in my first year of real estate. I love the interaction with people, the area I sell in and now have joined one of the most Prestigious Real Estate Agencies in this area. With their commitment as a private Company and my hard work and ethics, I feel that the sky's the limit.

Jason Moore

I was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Sydney where I finished school and under took a four year Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Trade Certificate. This culminated into me owning my own business called Fine Air Conditioning, which I successfully operated for several years.

On selling my business, I studied finance and was offered a position with one of Brisbane's leading finance companies. Due to my commitment there, I was soon offered the position of Senior Finance Consultant and became the Gold Coast Operations Manager with a large team who reported directly to me. This experience has proved to be a very valuable asset to have during my life in Real Estate.

In 2002 I left Australia for a well earned sabbatical and traveled Europe and Asia with my wife. Upon our return to the Gold Coast I decided it was time to pursue a new challenge and an old passion, so I enrolled at the REIQ (Real Estate Institute of Queensland) to become a fully licensed Real Estate Agent.

On completion of my license I began working for Century 21 at Runaway Bay where I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. This led to me achieving award wining sales results within the prestige property market of the northern end of the Gold Coast which included Sanctuary Cove, Ephraim Island and Sovereign Islands.

I was presented the opportunity to join the dynamic sales team of Hope Island Resort Realty. It was time for a change to an office that could offer me a new beginning with an office that is situated on the outskirts to a fabulous growth area where I feel that the world is my oyster. Barbara Hymus

I was born on the Darlings Downs but grew up in tropical Townsville, North Queensland. My parents were well-known real estate agents and community workers in North Queensland and I followed them into the real estate profession. I have worked in real estate for over 25 years and have specialised in Property Management having owned agencies in Townsville and on the Sunshine Coast.

In 1987 I was the second female appointed to the State Board of Directors of the REIQ. In Townsville I lectured for many years at the TAFE in Property Management. In 1998, my family (husband Tony and five children) moved to the Gold Coast and during this time I have worked in the Hope Island area. We love living on the Gold Coast and enjoy the wonderful lifestyle.

Sue Graham

I started my Real Estate Career at the age of 17 on the Central Coast in NSW and have been involved in the industry for over 30 years. I was Part Owner / Director of Elders Real Estate in South West Rocks (Mid North Coast of NSW).I was also President of the Chamber of Commerce for 2 years, Secretary for the local Rate Payers Association plus many other volunteer roles during the 10 years I was in this area. While being part owner of a Real Estate Agency , I was able to gain further experience in Sales, Commercial Leasing and Holiday Accomodation but my passion has always been for Permanent Leasing. In 2004, it was time for a climate / lifestyle change and relocated to the Gold Coast and due to the passion I have for Property Management, once again commenced employment in the Industry as a Property Manager. I am a fully Licensed Property Manager and have been managing properties in Hope Island for the past 4 years and due to my desire to be employed in a Boutique Agency, the opportunity arose to join the team at Hope Island Resort Realty. I am very excited and enthusiastic with the opportunity and services this agency offers to all clientele and look forward to continuing my success with Hope Island Resort Realty.

Rowena Milivojevic

I was born in London, England but migrated to Australia when I was 6 years old with my family. Brought up in Brisbane, I moved to Innisfail in North Queensland for 7 years, only to return to the Gold Coast where I have since resided with my husband. Initially involved in the Timeshare Industry, I then moved into Shopping Centre Management only to be offered a job in Residential Property Management 16 years ago. Although I have seen many changes over the years in Property Management, I still enjoy the challenge being a Property Manager presents.

Kate Deegenaars

I began my introduction to Real Estate in 1997 after moving from Port Macquarie NSW where I was employed for the State Bank of NSW for 8 years. My first experience in Real Estate was for L J Hooker Beaudesert. I continued my employment with my then employer who went out on his own solely in Property Management. It was here that I was exposed to all aspects of Property Management from Account Keeping for the rent roll to everyday Property Management duties. Being thrown in the deep end was certainly an excellent learning curb. Following nearly 3 years in Beaudesert my family and I moved across to the Gold Coast where we have since settled for the last 12 years. I had my second child and returned back to the work force after a 2 year spell, once again back to the Real Estate industry where I was employed as a receptionist in Runaway Bay - Century 21. I stayed with this business for 5 years until the office was sold. It was at this time I followed my work colleague Sue Graham to Guardian Realty for a further 2 and half years as Sueâ€™s assistant in Property Management. After the sale of Guardian Realty I find myself happily employed with Hope Island Resort Realty in my role as Receptionist and am always happy to continue to have a dabble in Property Management to help the Property Managers whenever necessary.
